26:1A-113.1 Powers and duties of commission. 9. The commission shall: (1) Furnish consultation and advice to the Division of Aging Services on programs designed to carry out the division's mandate. (2) Provide leadership in the field of aging. (3) Make recommendations to the Governor and Legislature regarding new legislation needed in areas related to aging. (4) Maintain liaison with other commissions and groups whose activities relate to the broad field of aging. L.1966, c.61, s.9; amended 2012, c.17, s.104.
