26:2H-18.55a Compilation of information relative to employed recipients of charity care. 2. a. The Commissioner of Health shall compile, to the extent data are available, the following information about recipients of charity care who are employed: (1) the employer's name and address; (2) the number of recipients of charity care who are employed by the employer; and (3) the cost to the State of providing charity care for the employer's employees and their dependents. b. In order to compile the information required pursuant to this section, the commissioner may require hospitals and other health care facilities to submit such information as may be necessary for this purpose. c. The commissioner may include comparable information about recipients of other public health care coverage programs, and other information as the commissioner deems appropriate regarding employer-based coverage for persons covered under public insurance programs. d.
