26:2H-5a. Coordination of hospital inspections The Commissioner of Health shall, to the extent possible and reasonable within the Department of Health's responsibilities under P.L.1971, c.136 (C.26:2H-1 et seq.), coordinate its annual inspection of a hospital with the triennial inspection conducted by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations to prevent duplication during the inspection process.
