26:2W-1 Cancer Awareness Education and Research Program. 1. The Commissioner of Health shall establish a Cancer Awareness, Education and Research Program to provide the following: support for cancer medical research; physician education and awareness; and patient education and screening services, particularly for members of minority groups.
