26:4-100.6. Poliomyelitis vaccine; regulation of purchase, sale, distribution and use It is hereby declared to be the policy of the State that no child shall be denied vaccination against poliomyelitis because of inability to pay the cost thereof. It is hereby found that there exists a shortage of poliomyelitis vaccine (hereinafter referred to as 'the vaccine') and that the public interest requires that the purchase, sale, distribution and use of the vaccine shall, so long as the shortage shall exist, be controlled and regulated as herein provided, to the end that fair and equitable distribution may be had and the vaccine be administered to children and others in accordance with priority groups based on the relative susceptibility of various age groups of children and others to poliomyelitis.
