§ 26-4-113

26:4-113. Powers of Perth Amboy port health officer The Perth Amboy port health officer also shall have power with reference to such vessel, subject to any regulation or special order of the state department: a. To grant a permit to land any passenger, baggage, merchandise or materials; b. To grant a permit to discharge any baggage, merchandise or materials into lighters or otherwise; c. To release such vessel from quarantine; and d. To give any other orders which he may think necessary for the prevention of the introduction into this state of any communicable disease.
