§ 26-4-57-1

26:4-57.1. Application for financial aid Any person declared by the department of health to be a carrier of the causative agent of typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever or other disease the infective agent of which is transmissible through food to other persons may apply to the director of health for financial aid for medical or surgical treatment for such carrier condition and for hospital care and maintenance. In the case of a minor the parent or guardian of such person may make such application on his behalf.
