26:6-28. Burial or removal permit for imported bodies When a dead body is transported from outside this state into the state for burial or other final disposition, the transit or removal permit, issued in accordance with the law and health regulations of the place where the death occurred, shall be given the same force and effect as a local burial or removal permit.
