§ 27-11-5

27:11-5. Maintenance of fund The fund shall be replenished and maintained by payments made by the state treasurer to the custodian, on the warrant of the comptroller, which payments shall equal the sum disbursed immediately previous to the date of such warrant of the comptroller. The sum to be paid shall be established by a certification bearing approval of the civil service commission and of the approval officer designated by the state highway commissioner.
