27:7-79. Comparable replacement dwelling assurance Whenever the acquisition of a dwelling for a program or project undertaken by an agency will result in the displacement of any person on or after the effective date of this section, the agency shall assure that, within a reasonable amount of time, prior to displacement there will be available a comparable replacement dwelling, except that the commissioner may prescribe by regulation situations where such assurances may be waived.
