30:4D-6.1. Abortions; payment of claims No payments for medical assistance shall be made under the act hereby supplemented for the termination of a woman's pregnancy for any reason except where it is medically indicated to be necessary to preserve the woman's life. In any case where a pregnancy is so terminated, the act shall be performed in a hospital and the physician performing the act shall submit in writing a report to the division stating in detail his reasons for finding it necessary to terminate the pregnancy.
