§ 30-4-103

30:4-103. County physician to certify cause of death in institution The body of a person dying in an institution maintained in whole or in part by state funds shall before removal therefrom be examined by the county physician, or acting county physician, of the county in which the institution is located and a certificate of the cause of death shall be signed by him and filed with the chief executive officer or medical director of the institution.
