§ 30-8-38

30:8-38. Penalty for neglect of duty by workhouse master If the master of the workhouse fails properly to account and pay over the proceeds of labor as required by section 30:8-37 of this title or fails to perform any duty required by law he shall for each offense forfeit fifty dollars to be recovered with costs in an action at law in the name and for the uses of the county.
