34:15-120.28. Deadline for filing claims 14. Notwithstanding any other provision of chapter 15 of Title 34 of the Revised Statutes, a covered claim, as defined therein, with respect to which settlement is not effected and pursuant to which suit is not instituted against the insured of an insolvent member or the association within one year after the deadline for filing claims with the receiver of the insolvent member, or any extension of the deadline, shall thenceforth be barred as a claim against the association.
