36:2-9. New Jersey Retired Teachers Day The Governor shall designate the first Sunday in November of each year as 'New Jersey Retired Teachers Day,' a day on which the people of New Jersey can pay tribute to the retired teachers of the State in grateful recognition of the instruction and guidance they have provided, and the example they have set, for the youth of New Jersey.
