§ 3b-12-22

3B:12-22. Appointment when heirs are nonresidents When it shall appear to the Superior Court, or surrogate's court that the heirs of a minor residing in this State do not reside within this State, the court may take any action in respect to the appointment of a guardian of the person, guardian of the estate or as guardian of the person and estate for the minor as shall be to his advantage.
