4:17-5 Jail for non-payment of fine. 4:17-5. Upon the failure of a person convicted of violating the provisions of this article to pay a fine as imposed pursuant to this article, the court convicting the person may commit such person to the county jail until the fine is paid. amended 1953, c.5, s.43; 2018, c.121, s.6.
