40:11A-22.7. Waiver The training requirements set forth in section 7 of this act may be waived by the appointing authority for any person eligible to be appointed as a parking enforcement officer under this act who has substantially equivalent training and background, as determined by the chief of police or, in his absence, other chief law enforcement officer of the municipality.
