The authority shall cause a financial audit of its books and accounts to be made at least once each year by certified public accountants pursuant to the 'Local Authorities Fiscal Control Law,' P.L.1983, c.313 (C.40A:5A-1 et seq.), and copies thereof shall be filed with the State Treasurer and with the State Auditor.
