§ 40-20-71

40:20-71. Director; selection; substitute Every board of chosen freeholders shall, at each annual meeting, elect one of its members to preside at its meetings. He shall be called the director of the board and in case of his absence or temporary disability the board shall select another of its members to preside at any meeting.
