40:37-171. Results returned and certified; record of The votes cast for or against the adoption of sections 40:37-96 to 40:37-174 of this title shall be counted, returned, certified and canvassed in the manner provided by the laws relating to elections, and the county clerk shall file a tabulated statement of the number of votes so cast together with his certificate thereon, in his office, there to remain of record.
