40:48-2.12b. Additional authority The authority conferred by this act shall be in addition to authority heretofore or hereafter conferred on the governing bodies of municipalities in respect to the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures, local health ordinances and the removal or destruction of buildings and structures and parts thereof endangering the public health and safety.
