40:60-18. Commission to supervise; constituted; powers and duties The governing body of any municipality undertaking such memorial construction shall include in such ordinance the names of five citizens thereof, one of whom shall be the mayor or other chief executive officer who shall be chairman, to constitute a commission, without compensation, to supervise the acquisition of the site and the fund, and other personalty in accordance with the terms of the enabling ordinance.
