§ 40a-10-6-1

40A:10-6.1. 'Local unit' for purposes of Article 3, chapter 10 of Title 40A 9. For the purposes of Article 3 of chapter 10 of Title 40A of the New Jersey Statutes, 'local unit' shall be deemed to include boards of education which join together with municipalities pursuant to P.L.1992, c.51 (C.40A:10-52 et al.).
