40A:14-146.4. Retirement system membership Any housing guard or housing patrolman on the effective date of this act appointed as a housing police officer pursuant to the provisions thereof shall be retained in the retirement system of which he is then a member, notwithstanding the provisions of P.L.1944, c. 255, s. 3 (C. 43:16A-3).
