A commissioner, officer, or employee of the municipal shared services energy authority shall not have or acquire any interest, direct or indirect, in any contract or proposed contract or property related to the provision of wholesale electric power, transmission, generation, materials, services, or supplies to be furnished, to or used by, the authority or any of its members.
