40A:9-154.14. Designation Except as provided in section 9 of this act, all persons employed by a municipality, other than regular police officers and special law enforcement officers, who are performing the functions enumerated in section 1 of this act on the effective date of this act, are hereby designated as parking enforcement officers and are deemed to be governed by the provisions of this act.
