§ 43-15a-114

43:15A-114. Other employees not in positions covered by a pension fund; membership Upon the extension of the Public Employees' Retirement System to members of another pension fund, as set forth in this act, other employees of such employers on the date of termination, who are not in positions covered by a pension fund, other than the terminated pension fund, which is supported in whole or in part by the State or 1 or more counties, municipalities or school districts, may within 1 year, become members of the Public Employees' Retirement System in the same manner, and under the same conditions with regard to their employment as apply to employees of the State.
