Reactivation of retirement system account Notwithstanding the provisions of section 27 of P.L. 1966, c. 217 (C. 43:15A-57.2) or any other law to the contrary, the retirement system shall not reenroll a former veteran member with more than 20 years of service, all or a part of which shall have been judicial service, if the member is employed again by a county of the first class having a population of less than 800,000 according to the latest federal decennial census within four years following the effective date of retirement, but shall reactivate the member's former account, provided that the member repays any retirement allowance received.
