43:16A-62. State firemen and police; membership Eligibility for membership in the Police and Firemen's Retirement System of New Jersey shall be extended to all active, permanent and full-time officer employees of the State of New Jersey with police powers and holding one of the titles cited in section 1 of P.L.1944, c. 255 (C. 43:16A-1) who are otherwise eligible in accordance with the provisions of this act.
