§ 44-4-39

44:4-39. Persons receivable in welfare-house The director of welfare under the general rules and regulations shall receive in the welfare-house such poor persons as by law are properly receivable therein, or as otherwise by law may be provided, and all such persons as would otherwise be receivable in an almshouse.
