§ 44-7-26

44:7-26. Claims for state's share filed monthly; approval and payment Claims for the state's share as provided in section 44:7-25 of this title shall be presented monthly in advance by the county welfare board through the state division to the comptroller of the treasury, and shall be paid to the treasurers of the respective county welfare boards. The approval of such claims shall be made by the state division which shall certify to the comptroller of the treasury the amount to which each county is entitled. The amount so certified shall be paid from the state treasury upon the audit and warrant of the comptroller to the treasurers of the respective welfare boards.
