§ 45-1-4

45:1-4. Salary of secretary The secretary of each of the boards mentioned in section 45:1-2 of this title, whether or not a member thereof, shall be entitled to receive such reasonable salary or compensation for his services as secretary as shall be fixed by such boards, which shall be paid by the boards from their receipts, unless an appropriation is made for the expenses of such boards, in which case the same shall be paid from such appropriation.
