§ 45-16-5

45:16-5. Issuance and recording of licenses The board shall issue forthwith to each applicant who has passed the examination, and who shall have been adjudged duly qualified for the practice of veterinary medicine, surgery and dentistry, a license to practice the same. The license shall be subscribed by the president and secretary of the board and shall have affixed to it, its corporate seal. Before the license is issued it shall be recorded in a book kept in the office which the board shall establish for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this chapter, and the number of the book and the page therein containing the recorded copy shall be noted on the face of the license. Such records shall be open to public inspection with proper restrictions as to their preservation.
