45:22-29. Pledge delivered on surrender of ticket or ticket impounded Except as otherwise provided in this article, a pawnbroker shall not be required, by legal process or otherwise, to deliver a pledge except upon surrender of the ticket, unless the ticket be impounded or its negotiation enjoined by a court of competent jurisdiction.
