45:27-31 Maintenance of interment spaces. 31. a. Owners of interment spaces, or other interested persons, may maintain their own interment spaces, or provide for maintenance by an independent contractor provided that the maintenance is subject to the supervision of the management of the cemetery company to insure compliance with the rules and regulations of the cemetery. b. The cemetery company may not charge for maintenance by others. The cemetery company may impose a reasonable fee for actual supervision of maintenance if the fee has been filed with the board.
