Extra fare for parlor and sleeping cars Any railroad company may, subject to the approval of the Board of Public Utility Commissioners, collect such extra fare from passengers who travel in cars furnished in a superior manner and with extra accommodations, commonly known as parlor or sleeping cars, provided the company shall also run trains of ordinary first-class passenger cars in number sufficient to accommodate fully all persons who prefer to travel therein.
