§ 48-15-19

48:15-19. Carrying newspapers, freight and express Any street railway or traction company may receive and carry over its railway, newspapers, freight and express matter for hire and may deliver the same to parties entitled thereto. The board of public utility commissioners may prescribe reasonable regulations for the use and operation of cars employed in the carrying of the freight and express matter.
