48:2-29.20. Notice of lifeline credit program The Commissioner of the Department of Human Services is authorized to direct each electric and gas utility to inform each eligible residential customer of the 'Lifeline Credit Program' by separate notice. The commissioner shall approve the content of any such notice. Prior to issuing any such direction to a utility, and prior to approving any such notice, the commissioner shall consult with the President of the Board of Public Utilities.
