5:8-3. Vacancies Vacancies created by expiration of term or otherwise shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointments were made, but for the unexpired terms only, notwithstanding that the previous incumbents may be holding over in office. L.1954, c. 7, p. 46, s. 3.
