52:27BB-86. Procedure of control The board may prescribe the procedure to be followed in each municipality in which the director is authorized and directed to exercise the control function. The board shall prescribe a procedure that so far as possible will restrict expenditures and commitments for expenditures to actual cash available and will safeguard the payment of commitments and regular expenses.
