52:27D-25ff Exemption, certain. 19. Notwithstanding the provisions of this act, the commissioner may exempt from the requirements of this act any person engaged in the installation of fire protection equipment in dormitories pursuant to P.L.2000, c.56 (C.52:27D-198.7 et al.). The exemption shall apply only for work performed pursuant to P.L.2000, c.56 (C.52:27D-198.7 et al.) and only for such time as is necessary to complete work performed pursuant to that act.
