52:35B-9 Regulations. 9. Notwithstanding the provisions of the 'Administrative Procedure Act,' P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), to the contrary, a contracting unit shall adopt, immediately upon filing with the Office of Administrative Law, regulations that the contracting unit deems necessary to implement the provisions of sections 2 through 9 of P.L.2021, c.71 (C.52:35B-2 through C.52:35B-9), which regulations shall be effective for a period not to exceed 180 days from the date of the filing. The contracting unit shall thereafter amend, adopt, or readopt the regulations pursuant to the 'Administrative Procedure Act,' P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.). L.2021, c.71, s.9.
