52:14-15c. Definitions For purposes of this act: 'Net pay' means the net amount of wages or compensation owed to an employee in any pay period after withholding of various federal and State taxes and all other deductions authorized by law including deductions construed as voluntary payments; 'Banking institution' means a State or federally chartered bank, savings bank, savings and loan association, or credit union.
