52:7-10.16 Database of notaries public. 25. Database of Notaries Public. The State Treasurer shall maintain an electronic database of current and former notaries public, including the dates that the notary public was commissioned and authorized to perform notarial acts: a. through which a person may verify the authority of a notary public to perform notarial acts; and b. which indicates whether a notary public has notified the State Treasurer that the notary public will be performing notarial acts on electronic records.
