53:1-11.13. Existing tenure rights unaffected Nothing in this act shall be construed to deprive existing classified law enforcement personnel currently titled as Marine Police Officer, Senior Marine Police Officer, and Principal Marine Police Officer, or any other title which encompasses substantially the same duties and responsibilities, of tenure rights under the laws concerning civil service, pension, or retirement.
