53:1-11.16. Marine police stations unaffected by act 12. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, no marine police station in operation as of the effective date of P.L.1997, c.19 (C.53:1-8.2 et al.) shall be closed permanently as a direct or indirect result or consequence of the implementation of any provision of P.L.1997, c.19 (C.53:1-8.2 et al.).
