§ 54-1-40

54:1-40. Person removed ineligible for same office for five years A person removed from his office of assessor as provided in section 54:1-39 of this title, or who, to prevent such removal, may have resigned therefrom, shall not be eligible to hold that office for five years from the date of his removal or resignation.
