56:3-28. Deposit made on delivery of containers not sale thereof The requiring, taking or accepting of any deposit upon delivery of any bottle, container or receptacle mentioned in section 56:3-15 of this title, having thereon a name, mark or device which has been registered and published as provided by sections 56:3-16 and 56:3-17 of this title, shall not be deemed a sale of any such bottle, container or receptacle, either optional or otherwise.
