58:12A-34. Local health authority not preempted 9. Nothing in this act shall be construed to limit or preempt the authority of a county, county health department, health agency, or designated health officer from making or causing to be made such inspection and testing of a water supply as may be necessary to ensure the health and safety of the residents of the State.
